BHSSC’s DD Division provides the following related services. Services include:

- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Transportation
The Related Services offered through BHSSC’s Developmental Disabilities Division are designed to provide flexible, individualized supports that help people live more independent, meaningful lives in their communities. These services are built around each person’s goals and may include a wide range of assistance that complements residential, employment, and day programs.
Related Services often focus on strengthening daily living skills, increasing independence, and supporting participation in community life. This can include help with personal care routines, skill-building activities, transportation support, and access to community resources. Services are tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs and may be provided in the home, at a program site, or out in the community.
A key focus of Related Services is promoting choice, dignity, and inclusion. Staff work closely with individuals, families, and support teams to ensure services are person-centered and aligned with each individual’s preferences and long-term goals. Whether someone is working toward greater independence at home, building social connections, or increasing participation in community activities, Related Services are designed to provide the right level of support at the right time.
These services are also integrated with other BHSSC supports, helping create a coordinated approach that ensures individuals have consistent, comprehensive care across all areas of their lives.
