Black Hills Special Services Cooperative (BHSSC) provides Pre-K–12 education services that support students, families, and school districts across South Dakota. Through collaborative partnerships, BHSSC helps expand access to innovative and flexible learning opportunities designed to meet a wide range of student needs.
These services focus on strengthening student success by offering individualized support, alternative learning options, and programs that enhance engagement and achievement. By working closely with local schools, BHSSC helps ensure students receive the tools and resources they need to thrive academically and prepare for future education, careers, and community life.
Through its cooperative model, BHSSC brings districts together to share resources and expertise, creating more efficient and effective educational support systems across the region.
